As president of Environmental Painting Alternatives, with over 30 years of professional experience, I am personally involved in every job that Environmental Painting Alternatives is contracted to complete. From the first walk through to the final inspection, I work directly with my clients and my personnel to make sure that professional standards remain a priority. I believe that professional standards come from a commitment to customer satisfaction, detailed preparation and proper execution for the job.
I actively promote the use of environmentally friendly project planning, surface preparation, and proper coatings for the job and clean up procedures, supporting the development and use of new environmental safer paints and coating practices and promotion of proper disposal methods for waste and leftover paint and supplies.
I will continue to be a leader in the painting industry in Florida to protect the earth and safeguard the environment while providing my customers a cost effective professional job.

What makes Environmental Painting Alternatives "GREEN?"
#1 PRODUCTS:
We use low Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) paints or zero VOC - Super Compliant VOC paints whenever possible. Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are organic chemical compounds that have high enough vapor pressures under normal conditions to significantly vaporize and enter the atmosphere.
- Whenever possible we use non-solvent industrial coatings and stripping products.
- We use Compliant Low-VOC cleaning solvents to clean our paint application equipment.
- We use high-quality sealants and caulk to make your home more energy efficient
#2 PRACTICES
- We buy only enough paint needed to complete the job and allow for touch-up, thereby eliminating disposal of excess paint.
- We recycle empty paint cans whenever possible.
- We dispose of paints and solvents properly.
- For water-based paints, we clean up with water only, and we do not rinse the clean-up water down the storm drain or where the clean-up water can enter waterways and lakes.
- We keep all paint solvent-laden rags in sealed containers to prevent VOC emissions and excessive odors.
- We use premium paints that require fewer coats and have long-term performance.
- We do the job right the first time and schedule our jobs efficiently to decrease the use of fuel.
- We mask properly to eliminate the need to use cleaning solvents.
- We protect plants to maximize CO2 conversion to oxygen.
- We maintain our tools and equipment to achieve long-term use.
- We follow manufacturers recommendations for proper coverage and long-term performance.
